A:
All Wolfcom W series cameras come with Super HAD CCD technology,
or optionally having Ex-view CCD.

Wolfcom CCD camera
selling today on market are almost all using Super HAD technology.
Super HAD will provide 2 times better sensitivity and 6 db better
smear rejection ratio then former old type CCD. Two micro lens on
top of each photo diode will collect more photon from incoming
light then old CCD.
Wolfcom W series camera using mainly Sony CCD chip for best color
rendering and good dynamic range.
Sony Ex-view CCD chips
Do have 4 times better sensitivity on near infrared zone ( 800~ 900
nm). compare to Super HAD, However this advantage If handled proper
it will be excellent for night vision. But if not handled properly,
it will become a draw background, because the infrared will cause
color distortion and blurred a image due to basic physics that
infrared will focus on deeper location and cause hologram image.
